Privacy Policy

The short version
DinkDeck stores your account info, profile, and match/game data so the app can work: OVR, medals, leaderboards, and your card history. We don't sell your data, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and username, used to sign you in and identify you to other players.
- Profile info: your username, country flag, and, if you choose, a profile photo.
- Match data: scores, opponents, dates, and, if you use Detailed Log or the Live Scorekeeper, point-by-point data you enter.
- Social data: friend connections, bench partners, club league and bracket memberships, and match challenges you send or receive.
- Safety data: if you block or report another player, we store who, when, and the reason you chose, so we can protect you and review conduct. Reports are visible only to you and DinkDeck's operators.
- Purchases: if you subscribe to DinkDeck Pro, Apple processes the payment. We receive your subscription status (via RevenueCat) but never your payment details.
- Push notifications: if you allow them, we store a device push token and your notification preferences. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
- Device motion: if you grant permission, DinkDeck reads motion sensors live to animate a tilt/shine effect on cards. This is not stored or sent anywhere.
What we don't do
- We don't use third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs that share your data across other apps or websites.
- We don't sell your personal data.
Service providers
DinkDeck's backend runs on Supabase (database, authentication and file storage). Subscriptions are managed with RevenueCat and Apple. They process data on our behalf and don't use it for their own purposes.
Sharing with other players
Your username, tier/OVR and player card are visible to other DinkDeck users by design. Detailed match notes and point-by-point data are visible only to you and, where relevant, the opponent you logged the match against.
Your controls
- You can edit your profile, remove your photo and change your settings at any time in the app.
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This cannot be undone.
Children
DinkDeck is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top.
